I’m Dario Incari, a street and documentary photographer born in Belgium to Italian

parents.

My work is driven by people and their daily lives. I’m drawn to human-centered stories shaped by culture,

place, and circumstance, often found in moments that are easy to overlook and impossible to stage.

Photography for me is a way of listening. I spend time observing, walking, and engaging before

raising the camera. I’m interested in what connects us across borders, and in how identity,

tradition, and environment shape the way people live and move through the world. I work primarily

in the street and documentary tradition, focusing on real situations rather than constructed

narratives.

Being a polyglot allows me to move through different cultures with curiosity and respect, and to

build genuine connections with the people I photograph. Travel and long-term exploration are

central to my practice, as each place offers new stories, rhythms, and ways of

seeing.

My goal is simple: to tell human stories with clarity, empathy, and restraint.
